Novost koja bi vas mogla , tj. koja vas ziher zanima je ta da su trenutno na pauzi snimanja. Dakle , možemo očekivati novi album. Ili krajem ove godine , ali mislim da će izaći negdje početkom iduće. Još ništa ne piše u njihovom dnevniku. Znam samo da su bili 2 tjedna u nekom kampu u sjevernoj Finskoj i kak je Henrik (Henkka) rekao : ˝Nalazimo se usred ničega.˝ Dakle, u nekoj kolibici usred šume su se 2 tjedna pripremali za početak snimanja svog novog albuma. Još nisu spomenuli niti jednu pjesmu , ali kad će biti novosti možete očekivati obavjesti. Pripreme su im prošle dobro. Osim što je Jani bio bolestan par dana pa su se na kraju zarazili Marko i Tony , ali na kraju je sve ok ispalo. Znači za sada svi koji ih volimo s nestrpljenjem možemo očekivati bilo kakve vijesti o njihovu novom albumu. A dok čekamo album , što nam drugo preostaje nego preslušavanje prethodnih.
Obećajem da ću češće pisati postove. Stvarno je prošlo dugo od zadnjeg posta koji je bio za Janijev ročkas. Idući ročkas je Henrikov (21.10.). Sad bi ispričala što sam sanjala jer ima veze s dečkima iz SA-e , ali buem to vjerojatno u idućem postu jer ionako ne znam kaj bi pisala , a san je bio baš lud !!! Sad si vi slobodno mislite da sam skrenula , ali kaj ću ja , nemrem ja upravljat svojim snovima ko neki. Kaj mi dođe u san , dođe. Hehe ! POZZZZ SVIMA i dajte ljudi , komentirajte da kolko tolko ovaj blog opstaje jer mi je doista stalo do njega.

... It´s not how long you live , but what your morals say ... (Don´t Say A Word)
For The Sake Of Revenge ja zapravo ne smatram nekim novim albumom zato jer su na njemu pjesme s prethodnih albuma jedino sto su mix FullMoon/White Pearl, Black Oceans... zajedno stavljene i jedna koja se naziva Vodkaa (Hava Nagila).
The End Of This Chapter je zapravo kompilacija singlova isto kao i gore navedeni album, tako da je zapravo i For The Sake Of Revenge kompilacija. Na ovome je samo dodana pjesma Draw Me u instrumental verziji.
I ono sto sam zapravo htijela reci, stvar je u tome da ako imate sve prethodne albume i nemorate kupovati ova dva i neke njihove singlice jer sami si mozete napraviti ih jer su sve to pjesme s tih prethodnih. Dakle, pare vam ostanu u dzepu. Inače, Sonata je stalno, tj. kroz cijelu godinu na nakim turnejama i koncertima tako da ako ste negdje izvan nasih drzavnih granica, imate priliku ih vidjeti. Trenutno kruze po rodnoj Finskoj i USA. Ko zna, mozda dodu i jednom u Hrvatsku. Ako nista drugo, mogli bi do Slovenije bar skociti pa ljudi, idemo svi zajedno !!!
BTW: Sad ja izgledam slično Janiju s crveno crnom kosom. Al sam Janimanka. Ne, MRS. LIIMATAINEN. hihihihi ...

Biografija
Ideja o formiranju benda kao sto je Sonata Arctica se rodila 1996. godine u gradu Kemi koji se nalazi na sjeveru Finske. Pod prvobitnim nazivom, Tricky Beans izdaje tri demo snimke - Friend till the End, Agre Pamppers i PeaceMaker i svira dvaput sa Jyrki Sähkösirkusom. Nakon nekih osobnih promjena 1997. godine, postava mijenja naziv u Tricky Means. Za metal javnost je bila dovoljno zanimljiva izjava na samom početku da je Tricky Means ekperimentirao i varirao u muzičkim stilovima čak i daleko od heavy metal zvuka. 1999. godine Tricky Means snima novi demo FullMoon u Tico Tico Studiju (Kemi). U tom trenutku postava se sastojala od vokala/klavijaturste Tonya , Jania - gitara, Tommya - bubanjevi i Jannea - bas. Novi demo je bilo prvi potez benda u heavy metal vodama. Zvuk je karakterisao brz, melodicni i klavijaturno orijentiran heavy metal sa čistim i jakim vokalom. Demo koji su snimili je dosjeo do Finske izdavačke kuće Spinefarm Records kada su članovi odlučili ponovo promijeniti naziv benda u Sonata Arctica. 1999. godine izlazi i prvi singl Sonata Arctice UnOpened. Dvije najbolje pjesme sa ovog singla UnOpened i Mery-Lou su obilježile sam početak benda na power metal sceni. Mada nije sve bilo sjajno, prilikom prvog mixanja singla prva pjesma Unopened je slučajno usporena i tako poslana u glazbene radnje. Otprilike 200 kopija je prodano dok nije uočena greška, dok se danas ta izdanja smatraju veoma veoma materijalom. U jesen 1999. godine izlazi debi full-length album Ecliptica koji je najprije bio izdan u Finskoj, a zatim malo kasnije i u ostalim državama. Prošavsi vrlo uspješno Ecliptica je otvorila vrata Sonati Arctici sudjelovanju na dva tribute materijala. Snimili su I Want Out od Helloweena za njihov tribute album Keepers of Jericho i Still Loving You od Scorpionsa za A Tribute to The Scorpions. Ubrzo nakon izlaska prvog albuma, Tony Kakko je odlučio se usredotočiti na vokal, jer je do tada svirao i klavijature pored pjevanja. Mikko Harkin (ex. Kenziner) se priključuje bendu da bih spasio Tonya klavijatura. Ova promjena je doprinjela energičnijim nastupima, kao i veliki odskok zbog samog postojanja dvojice klavijatursta i boljem snalaženju na live nastupima. Uspjesi su se redali od početka 2000. godine. Ubrzo nakon izdanja Ecliptica Sonata Arctica je nastupala sa Stratovariusom na europskoj turneji tako što je izabrana u konkurenciji od 32 člana iz 15 različitih izdavačkih kuca. Turneja je počela u travnju 2000. sa Stratovariusom i Rhapsodyem. Trajala je dva mjeseca kroz deset zemalja sa oko 30 nastupa. Veoma uspješna turneja je prethodila mini CD-u Successor.
Ubrzo je došlo do manjih promjena u okviru benda kada Janne Kivilahti odlučuje napustiti bend iz osobnih razloga. Njega je zamjenio Marko Paasikoski, inače jedan od osnivača Tricky Beansa. Te iste godine nakon dosta uspjeha, Sonata Arctica je predložena za najvrednije novo otkriće - Emma nagradu u Finskoj. U vrijeme najveće slave bend radi i drugi album. Singl sa drugog albuma Wolf & Raven je izašao u svibnju 2001. godine i prošao veoma dobro. Prvi album je prodan u Japanu u više od 30 000 kopija što je bio dovoljan razlog da se drugi album Silence najprije pojavi na tom prostoru. 2001. održali su turneju po Finskoj i jednom dijelu Europe. U srpnju je uslijedila europska turneja kao podrška bendu Gamma Ray. Ova turneja je trajala pet tjedana, a završila nastupom u Helsinkiju u Finskoj. što je bilo pravo zadovoljstvo za fanove Sonate. Na kraju 2002. bende iz osobnih razloga napušta klavijaturist Mikko Harkin, a zamjenjuje ga Jens Johansson iz Stratovariusa, koji se brinuo oko solo dionica na klavijaturama. Tada bend izdaje svoj treći album Winterheart's Guild. Po završetku ugovora s Spinefarm Recordsom, bend potpisuje za Nuclear Blast. Četvrti studijski album Reckoning Night pušten je u prodaju u listopadu 2004. Uslijedio je nastup s Nightwishom na europskoj turneji, te samostalni nastupi u SAD-u i Kanadi. 2006. izlazi live izdanje For the Sake of Revenge s koncerta u Tokiju.
